Well, after quite a long drought, I finally posted the next chapter of Still Waters 3: Book 2. This one marks the start of the tournament. Don't worry, this won't be one of those neverending tournament arcs that are the bane of so many shows; this will only continue for three chapters with other important events interspersed between the matches.

Ok, as an exercise in fine tuning my OCs in Still Waters 3, I listed all the characters in the new class (and other people) in one column, and the already existing characters from all over that inspired them in another.  And you know what?  Out of ~35 new characters, only five were anything like other characters; from looks to personality to ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'm at that point in Still Waters 3 where I have to write about the inevitable Mahora Festival.  I'm hoping to avoid stretching it out ridiculously, but with roughly 100-something characters to keep track of, I can tell already I'll have to plot it all out before hand, so I don't have someone who's at an art gallery on one end of the campus ( Read more... )
